The Fabric of Our Conviction.

At VELU, materials are more than a canvas — they carry our values. Every fibre we choose is selected with care, integrity, and intention.

Bamboo Rayon

Smooth. Breathable. Responsibly grown.

Our bamboo rayon blend is crafted from sustainably sourced bamboo pulp, using minimal water and no pesticides. Once spun into rayon, it creates a silky, moisture-wicking fabric that keeps its shape and comfort through time. The result: clothing that feels cool, drapes beautifully, and treads lightly on the planet.

66% rayon from bamboo, 28% cotton, 6% spandex.

Lyocell

Naturally silky. Made to last.

Lyocell is a plant-based fibre derived from responsibly sourced wood pulp, produced in a closed-loop process that reuses water and non-toxic solvents — minimizing waste and pollution. Soft, durable, and breathable, lyocell brings fluid movement and long-lasting comfort to every piece.

66% lyocell, 28% organic cotton, 6% spandex.

Organic Cotton

Essential comfort. Elevated through sustainability.

We use responsibly grown, certified organic cotton — free from synthetic pesticides and chemicals. It adds gentle strength and breathability, while keeping the natural softness our pieces are known for.

Hemp

Hemp grows quickly, requires minimal water, and thrives without pesticides — one of the most sustainable fibres on Earth. Naturally breathable and antibacterial, it gets softer with time, making it perfect for pieces built to last.

Why We Don't Use Synthetics

We avoid polyester, nylon, and other fossil-based fibres commonly linked to microplastic pollution and chemical residues.

Instead, we use only plant-derived fibres and small amounts of spandex (6%) to ensure comfort, stretch, and shape retention.

All our fabrics have been tested for harmful chemicals — both regulated and non-regulated — to meet the highest standards of safety for your skin and for the planet.
