More Than Apparel. It's Our Stand.

Clothing with a conscience. Crafted in Vancouver.
VELU stands for Vision for Earth, Lives United—a name that reflects everything we believe in.
We design apparel with purpose: rooted in sustainability, fuelled by inclusion, and made entirely in Vancouver. Every piece is an expression of values—crafted not just to be worn, but to be lived.
Born from a desire to reconnect with nature and community, VELU is a quiet rebellion against fast fashion. It’s a reminder that clothing can do more—and mean more.
100% MADE IN CANADA. ON PURPOSE.
VELU is proudly produced in Vancouver, British Columbia—by choice, not by trend.
In an industry where many brands begin locally and later outsource, we’ve chosen a different path. While others scale outward, we go deeper: investing in our community, supporting local jobs, and standing by the country that shaped our vision.
Our decision to remain 100% Canadian-made is not about nostalgia—it’s about values. It’s about building something rooted, honest, and sustainable.
We work with local makers and certified mills to produce in small, intentional batches using responsible materials.
From fibre to final stitch, every VELU garment is made with care, intention, and integrity.

Our Core Values

Canadian Craft
We honour the hands and minds behind every piece. Made here, for here—with care and purpose.

Inclusion & Diversity
We design for everyone. Our brand reflects the beauty of difference—across culture, gender, and identity.

Sustainability
From recycled fibres to local production, we reduce impact— focusing on what’s better, not what’s cheaper.

Radical Transparency
We don’t hide behind branding. We show where it’s made, how it’s made, and why it matters.
A Note from the Founder
VELU was never meant to follow trends.
It was built to reflect what truly matters—care for the planet, respect for people, and the belief that clothing can carry meaning.
Thank you for believing in this vision.
